SEENERGY > About Us
Why SEENERGY?
The development of the Energy Community of South East Europe (ECSEE) is a complex and long-term process, primarily due to the implementation of significant energy reforms in the SEE countries. In this context, stress is laid on the systematic access to current information for all participants (member countries, observers, technical groups), throughout the entire duration of developing the ECSEE. This is the primary role of the SEENERGY.org multi-country energy website. This website should assist participating countries to share information inside and outside their country, thus helping them meet key goals of the market: competition and consumer choice.
This multi-country website has the task of collecting and publishing information from national institutions about the energy sector in the South East Europe region. The aim is to provide access to a comprehensive system of information, which gives the visitor a complete overview from all participating countries and energy institutions in these countries, which are involved in the creation of the energy market.
